Terms of service

This page is a draft under legal review.

These terms apply when you use FresherHub at fresherhub.app. FresherHub is run by Shahid Kamal, trading as FresherHub, a sole proprietorship based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India ("we", "us"). By signing in or paying, you agree to these terms. Please also read our privacy policy and refund and cancellation policy.

What FresherHub is

FresherHub checks how ready you are for a specific tech role. You choose a target role, add your resume and (optionally) your GitHub and LinkedIn details, and we compare the evidence we find against that role's requirements. You get a readiness score, the gaps holding you back, a ranked plan of what to do next, tools to improve your resume and LinkedIn text, and an optional public portfolio page.

Who can use FresherHub

  • You need a GitHub account to sign in. We do not offer other sign-in methods.
  • You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding contract. FresherHub is not for anyone under 18.
  • You are responsible for your GitHub account and for what happens when you are signed in to FresherHub.

Acceptable use

When using FresherHub, do not:

  • upload content that is not yours or that you have no right to share;
  • upload files that contain malware or are meant to break or overload the service;
  • try to access another person's account or data;
  • use a public portfolio to publish false, misleading, offensive or unlawful content, or to impersonate someone;
  • scrape, copy or resell the service, or get around limits and paid features;
  • use FresherHub to break any law.

You keep ownership of what you upload. You allow us to store and process it only to provide FresherHub to you, as described in the privacy policy. If you publish a portfolio, you also allow us to show the parts you chose to publish to anyone who visits it, until you unpublish it or delete your account.

Reporting content on a public portfolio

If a public portfolio contains something unlawful, false about you, or infringing your rights, email support@fresherhub.app with the portfolio link and what is wrong. The Grievance Officer (see "Contact" below) will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days, and we may remove content or suspend the portfolio.

Our content

The FresherHub service, including its software, design, role definitions, scoring rules and written content, belongs to us. You may use it for your own career preparation. Do not copy, resell or build a competing service from it.

Payments

  • FresherHub has a free plan.
  • Placement Sprint is a one-time payment of ₹299 (INR) that unlocks the paid features for 30 days from when the payment is confirmed.
  • It does not auto-renew. After 30 days your account goes back to the free plan, and you are not charged again unless you choose to buy another period.
  • The price shown before you pay is the total amount charged. There are no other fees from us.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see your card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
  • Placement Sprint is non-refundable once purchased, except as set out in our refund and cancellation policy.

No guarantee of jobs or placement

FresherHub does not guarantee a job, interview, internship, placement or any particular result. Your readiness score is a measure of the evidence we could find against one role's requirements. It is not a hiring decision, and employers use their own criteria.

AI-generated content

Some features use AI: reading your resume, suggesting resume and LinkedIn wording, and explaining your result in plain language. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Check any suggestion before you use it, and only use wording that is true about you. You are responsible for what you put on your resume, LinkedIn and portfolio.

AI does not set your readiness score, gaps or blockers. Those come from fixed rules described on How FresherHub works.

Changes to the service

We are improving FresherHub all the time. Features, role definitions and scoring rules may change. We try to keep the service available, but it may sometimes be unavailable or have errors. The service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed job or interview, lost income or lost opportunities, arising from your use of FresherHub. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Ending your use of FresherHub

You can stop using FresherHub at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the service at risk. If you delete your account, or we close it for breaking these terms, any remaining Placement Sprint time ends and is not refunded, unless the law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using FresherHub after a change, the updated terms apply.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. Subject to your rights under consumer protection law, disputes will be decided exclusively by the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
